Opportunity Details

Universal Access Trail Construction and Maintenance

Project volunteers will help load, haul, spread and rake out trail surfacing materials (rock, gravel, and trail topper). This project will help us as an organization create two universal accessible trail loops and one barrier free loop within Mount Pisgah Arboretum.

Mount Pisgah Arboretum’s mission is to engage people with nature through interactive learning and stewardship. At our diverse 209-acre site, visitors can explore the ecology of the whole Southern Willamette Valley on our seven miles of family-friendly trails. The Arboretum is one of the region’s premier nature education centers. Each year we teach over 11,000 children and adults about local ecology, including 3,000 K-5 students who discover the wonders of nature on school field trips led by our trained volunteers.
