Opportunity Details

SMART Site Coordinator

Reading Matters. In Lane County, students aren’t meeting important reading benchmarks, which significantly impacts their likelihood of graduating from high school.

That’s why SMART Reading mobilizes community volunteers to read with thousands of kids and ensure they have the books and reading support they need to succeed. Help your community’s kids realize their full potential through reading.

Site Coordinators are key to SMART’s success. During the school year, Site Coordinators spend 2-8 hours per week providing program oversight during reading sessions, acting as a key point of contact at our schools, and creating a welcoming, organized environment for our Reading Volunteers and students.
