Social Media Specialist


Social media is a proven organic marketing tool! We are in need of an individual who is well versed in social media as a tool to grow our organization. This individual will work with our staff and other volunteers to create content.

A background in Marketing, Communication, Nonprofit Management or other related discipline is helpful. Additionally, strong communication skills, knowledge or experience of strong social media presence with high volume of followers, knowlege or proficiency in other forms of digital marketing are important. While it is not required, knowlege of GSuites (google docs, sheets, slides and calendars) is a plus.


Candidates should be organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments, and be creative and flexible, outgoing and personable.

Minimum time commitment:

  • 3 to 6 months
  • 6 to 12 hours per week
