Child Recruitment Specialist
Do you wish to make a difference in the life of a waiting foster child? Child Recruitment Specialist candidates will communicate extensively with caseworkers regarding the status and recruitment needs of waiting foster children.
You will receive real world work experience in organizing and scheduling recruitment services, communicating with child welfare professionals, updating information as it is provided to us, scheduling and implementing services, tracking services and their results, and more. This is a great opportunity to learn marketable skills as well as do important and valuable work.
Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse populations, strong computer/email skills, experience using google spreadsheets, slides, similar to Microsoft Office products. Candidates should also be well organized with attention to detail with ability to complete tasks independently, have the ability to meet deadlines, punctual, concientious and, most of all, be dedicated to helping foster youth. Phone skills are a plus, but not required.
3-6-9 month minimum commitment with rolling start dates 6 to 12 hours per week
