Stream Team - Planting at Island Park
Fall is the time to plant! Join the Stream Team in planting native vegetation along the Willamette River at Island Park in Springfield. Native plants provide habitat that wildlife depend on for food and shelter. They also provide shade, which cools the water for salmon and other fish in the river (salmon LOVE cold water). We will be planting potted plants. Please come dressed for the weather and for planting. Snacks, water, tools, and gloves will be provided. Please bring your water bottle. Thank you!!!!
