Tree Stewardship Work Party!
Join Friends of Trees for United Way Day of Service 2019! Volunteers will help care for young trees near the rose garden and I-105. Friends of Trees staff and volunteers will work together to weed and mulch native trees and shrubs from a past planting project. This project will help shade and shelter the nearby neighborhood from busy I-105 and provide a green corridor from W 1st Ave to the Owen rose garden.
Friends of Trees will provide gloves, tools, morning snacks, and coffee. Dress for the weather and wear closed toe shoes. No previous experience necessary!
Age Minimum (with Adult): 5+, Minimum Age:18+
