United Way Day of Caring - Accessible Garden Project

Northwest Youth Corps is searching for people (with or without disabilities) interested in helping to building accessible garden space at the Laurel Valley Educational Farm in Eugene. We hope to do the majority of work Sept. 20, 2018. We need help patching sidewalks, finalizing our ADA accessible entrance to the Farm, trimming vines, creating an ADA accessible parking spot, filing sharp edges on the main gate, building a tool cabinet, building raised beds, installing irrigation, and building a bench, as well as other farm related projects that day (weeding, general maintenance). Let’s Make Gardening Available to Everyone!
