Mount Pisgah Arboretum, Landscape Beautification Project
Help us put our best foot forward and welcome our visitors with attractive, well-kept entryways! Volunteers will be reconstructioning our education buildings flower beds. The building just got a new and improved foundation but during the construction the beds were partly destroyed and neglected. So we plan on adding a new gravel skirting, new bed borders, mulching, and much more!
Tools, gloves, snacks, and beverages provided. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in your group.
Mount Pisgah Arboretum’s mission is to engage people with nature through interactive learning and stewardship. At our diverse 209-acre site, visitors can explore the ecology of the whole Southern Willamette Valley on our seven miles of family-friendly trails. The Arboretum is one of the region’s premier nature education centers. Each year we teach over 11,000 children and adults about local ecology, including 3,000 K-5 students who discover the wonders of nature on school field trips led by our trained volunteers.
