See the costumes and fun up close! Help with parade staging and assist parade entries in locating their position and helping them face in the correct direction. Ensure entrants know their parade entry number, which entry they follow, and that they are displaying their parade entry number. We will give you all the information you need to have fun. Sign-up to volunteer and meet fellow Eugenians who care about creating community and supporting the arts. For each shift you volunteer, you will be entered into a volunteer prize drawing for a chance to win prizes from Burley, Arriving By Bike, North + West Collection, Hertiage Dry Goods, Off the Waffle and more! We appreciate our volunteers, thank you! Volunteers receive volunteer training, a volunteert-shirt, are entered into a prize drawing, and are invited to our volunteer thank you party.
About The EUG Parade
The EUG Parade is from from 11 am- 12 pm in Downtown Eugene on September 22nd! The new longer route will include a loop around 8th Avenue, Monroe Street, Broadway, and Oak Street. This year's theme is Steppin' Out! Steppin' Out is about representing Eugene and all that makes us unique and quirky. Expect glam, bling, and shiny things.
After the EUG Parade, Sunday Streets will open streets for people to ride, roll and walk car-free streets. The Park Blocks, Monroe Park, and Kesey Square will have free play areas, games, yoga, fitness classes, live music, food carts and more from 12-4 pm. Expect free bike repairs, helmets, maps, lights, and information on how to stay active and engaged in our bustling community.
