Down and Dirty
Get down and dirty at Pearl Buck Center! Help us spruce up our grounds by trimming bushes, weeding, and spreading bark mulch. If desired, bring your favorite yard and garden tools.
Pearl Buck Center serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Lane County. We serve approximately 700 individuals and their families by empowering people to be the best they can be at work, home and school. Our programs and services include: Community Employment, Life Enhancing Activities Program, Preschool & Family Supports, Project SEARCH, Supported Living, and Vocational Academy.
Tasks:
- Weed the outdoor areas surrounding Pearl Buck Center
- Trim bushes
- Spread bark mulch
Shifts: 9:30 - 12:00, 12:30 - 3:00
Volunteers:
Age Minimum (with Adult): 13+, Minimum Age:18+
