School Garden spruce up
Our school garden is a sweet area up on the hill overlooking Spencer Butte and the Edgewood lower playground. It is completely parent volunteer run and we could use some extra helping hands to do a fall clean up.
Jobs include: weeding, clearing grasses that are trying to encroach from the perimeter, moving compost into 9 raised beds and either turning over soil to prep for kids to plant ground cover crops or top dressing depending on the bed, pruning rhododendrons, fixing a couple of broken boards on planter boxes.
