Holiday Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for ways to give back during the giving season? Volunteer with local Lane County nonprofits! United Way has pulled together a number of nonprofit opportunities happening this holiday season. Current nonprofit volunteer opportunities are listed below.
Ongoing with St. Vincent de Paul (Eugene)

Ongoing with Eugene Mission (Eugene)
Eugene Mission is looking for volunteers to help with decorating, food boxes, handing out gifts, stuffing envelopes, processing donations, and more. Holiday volunteers are required to attend one volunteer orientation prior to volunteering. Ongoing with ShelterCare (Eugene)
ShelterCare is looking for volunteers to make holiday greeting cards. ShelterCare loves distributing handmade holiday greeting cards to families and individuals in their programs. If you’re interested in making holiday greeting cards, please email email@example.com.
Weekly until Friday, 1/31 with ShelterCare (Eugene)
From 9am-1pm, volunteer with ShelterCare to assist staff in group activities, outings in the community, with lunch preparation, and clean-up. For more information and to sign up please follow this link.
Friday, 12/13 with CASA Boutique (Springfield)

Week of 12/16 and 12/30 with Positive Community Kitchen (Eugene)
Positive Community Kitchen needs volunteers to help prep and cook food, mentor teens, and package food for deliveries. Various volunteer times include:
- Monday, 12/16 at 12-2pm, 2-4pm, and 4-6:30pm
- Tuesday, 12/17 at 12-2pm, 2-4pm, and 4-6:30pm
- Monday, 12/30 at 12-2pm, 2-4pm, and 4-6:30pm
