Help assemble Dental Kits for kids in Lane County!

Right now, Oregon has one of the highest rates of childhood dental disease in the country. Dental issues can keep kids out of school and cause financial and emotional distress for families struggling to get by. Plus, helping kids create good oral hygiene habits can prevent more than just cavities because more serious health problems can result later in life from poor oral care.

United Way of Lane County and Burley are teaming up to change that by providing children in Lane County with a dental kit, along with curriculum support for educators and information for parents.

With over 20,000 kits to assemble, we need some assistance! Bring your friends and family and join us for one of five dental kit assembly sessions during MLK Week:

  • SESSION IS FULL-January 21st (MLK Day of Service), 1-3pm

  • January 22nd, 3-5pm

  • January 22nd, 5:30-7:30pm

  • January 24th, 3-5pm

  • January 25th, 9-11am
